2012 is going to have it share of ups and downs, and while the world is not going to end, it will certainly change. The cosmos will definitely give ample energy for upheavals and in society, in and on the earth and sky, and in our personal lives. We will see a struggle between the establishment and the revolutionary spirit with a new appreciation and understanding of compassion. One thing is for sure, humanity will have to come together, whether it is through force or by choice, and a new vibration of cooperation will open our hearts and minds. We will see strange weather patterns and definite shifts in geology and ecology for better and for worse, but there is no need to panic, it is all part of Mother Earth's plan.

Happy New YearAries-   Give your loved ones a break for any crazy situations that they may have put you through during the holidays. Anyone can act the fool at this time of year, so try to be forgiving. Keep your eyes open at work because there could be major changes in your favor if you are prepared for the task. Put in a little extra effort and you will be reaping the rewards in no time.

Taurus- Jupiter has turned direct in your sign and is sitting at the zero degree waiting to get you jump started on your next big goal. Now is the time to put important plans for business and romance into action. Women, especially maternal figures, will figure prominently in your life for the next few weeks and you will need to be extra patient and understanding.

Gemini- Be sure that you are keeping up with your responsibilities this week before your end up suffering the consequences. It would be very easy right now to get caught up in the New Year celebrations and forget to take care of business. An interesting new person may be consuming your time texting and talking, and though this could be a great thing, but it could also cause you to make costly oversights in your daily routines and budgets. Make a list of must-dos so that you stay on track.

Cancer- The fallout from family disagreements may leave you feeling a little queasy, but great times are ahead for your personal life and your appetite will be back to normal in no time. Business and romantic opportunities will be easy to attract at this time as long as you put in the effort to be noticed. It is in your best interest to stand out from the crowd, so be creative in your manner of dress. 

Leo- You should examine your relationship with your current romantic partner to make sure that your ego isn't taking up too much room.  Give your sweetie a little extra attention and affection and you will strengthen your bond. You will have luck shopping, so take advantage of year-end clearance sales to find great deals on luxury items that you normally couldn't afford.

Virgo- Your ambitious side may come out in full force to propel you up the corporate ladder.  Once you are fired up, thanks to Mars transiting your sign, the competition won't stand a chance. A sibling may ask you for some personal advice; don't be tempted to share their secrets with others in the family, they deserve your trust.

Libra- Conflict is likely on the home front this week with family members and roommates. Someone may infringe on your personal space if you don't set clear boundaries. Let your parents and siblings know how much they mean to you and try to remedy any recent disagreements, you may regret it later if you don't try to make amends.

Scorpio- Follow your instincts this week when it comes to family matters, someone may be in need of help, but may not be able to express themselves at this time. Do what you think is best for your relative and set aside outdated family traditions and customs. Business matters may take up a lot of your personal time, ask your friends and loved ones to be understanding about your need for space.

Sagittarius- Mercury, currently in your sign is delivering a lot more information and mental stimulation than you can keep up with, so be sure to make time for some mindless fun with friends. Be sure to explore the feelings of your partner before making romantic plans for the future; if you are not in focus now, you don't have much chance for a future.

Capricorn-   Try to make the best of a bad situation at work this week. Look at your current challenges as a chance to re-build from the ground up; this time your structure will be much more secure. Issues with inheritances and legacies will come to the forefront. Your share will be more than enough, chasing more than your share will only cause costly and tiring legal issues. If you meet an attractive person and don't know what to say, just smile and let them do the rest.

Aquarius- A second chance for romance could land on your doorstep at this time if you open yourself up to the possibilities. Communications with past loves could turn serious so be ready to make changes in your current circumstances to accommodate the reunion. Consider the stock market when considering investment opportunities, an eco-friendly company could bring you great returns.

Pisces- Don't be shy about asking friends and neighbors for help right now. You have more support than you know, and all you have to do is reach out for it. This is a great time to consider making changes to your living environment. A re-model or re-deco could really lift your spirits and add the comforts that you deserve to come home to every day.
