Soulistic Shirley is a Wholistic Health Practioner, Astrologist, Yoga Teacher and Reiki Healer.  She believes that astrology heals and can often help individuals put things into perspective and release stress and control issues that are often at the root of physical ailments that they are encountering.

A graduate of Brown University, Shirley went on to work in the finance and real estate industries after college, only to encounter that all that glitters is not always gold.  Drained by the  long hours, too much time spent sitting in front of a computer, and stressful office dynamics, Shirley returned to that same dictionary that she often spent time with as a child.  During her free time, she read anything she could about metaphysics including astrology, numerology, herbs and botanical properties, wholistic health and diet, and yoga.  Shirley decided to gain certification as a Wholistic Health Counselor and went on to become a registered Doctor of Naturopathy.  Today Shirley enjoys working with people and encouraging them to live their most optimum life through naturally occurring forces and energy through workshops and individual counseling.

Shirley writes a blog in which she often writes about astrological trends and writes mini-horoscopes based on planetary settings.  Astrology remains a significant part of her life, and she continues to study astrology everyday.
