The Moon is quiet and content in pleasure-seeking Taurus as the weekend starts off Friday night. Her calm disposition, however, might get all stirred up by the altercation between Mercury and Pluto which dominates the weekend. In cardinal signs, Mercury and Pluto fight to assert their authority and leadership. Mercury (interaction) in Aries is brash and impatient, while Pluto (power) in Capricorn is disciplined and tenacious. The Moon's placement in stubborn Taurus may feed into their conflict. No compromises. My way or the highway. Agreeing to disagree may be the only course of action left to take. If, however, parties involved can meet each other halfway, this can be a fruitful and dynamic collaboration/interaction. Mercury is eager and creative in Aries, just as Pluto is sensual and devoted in Capricorn.

The following day is quiet until early afternoon, the Sun makes his big, bold move into fiery Aries, joining Venus (love) and Mercury. Upon entering Aries, the Sun quickly allies with Mars (drive), while seeking harmony with Saturn (structure). These alignments between the Sun, Mars and Saturn stays strong for the remainder of the weekend.

The Taurus-Moon happily links up with Uranus (surprises) then challenges Neptune (intuition) and Chiron (release) before leaving Taurus for Gemini at 8:28 p.m. EST, just in time for going out Saturday night. The Gemini-Moon lightens moods and spreads good cheer as she gets friendly with the Aries-Sun, followed by Leo-Mars then Saturn who is in the relationship sign of Libra. Allow the friendly Gemini-Moon to sweep away whatever tensions may remain from the night before or earlier this day.

Mid-morning Sunday, the Moon blows a kiss to Mercury then takes a breather for the rest of the day. Later in the evening, she aligns with Jupiter, where overindulgence, overextending one's self or being too excessive may be something to watch out for.


ARIES ~ It's a grand weekend with the Sun joining Venus and Mercury in your sign. Passions rise. Words intensify. Let the tension turn hot and steamy for all the right reasons. Stay away from fault-finding, impulsive replies fueled by anger or jumping to conclusions. Communication is a two-way street. Truly listen before deciding, acting or speaking. 

TAURUS ~ Something seems unsettled inside. No, probably not indigestion. Expand your mind, however, and brave new experiences. Grab your partner and try something new this weekend. On a personal level, you are on the verge of major growth. Small efforts here and there for experimentation open up the path for personal development.

GEMINI ~ You'd rather not be bothered, but people are (or a person is) set on crushing your lighthearted spirit. Shift your focus and avoid engaging with those who seek to bring your harm (literally and metaphorically). All is not lost, however. Your sweetheart is around to comfort you so, keep him/her close to heart and bedroom this weekend.

CANCER ~ Watch out for altercations with authority figures who are on special power trip. Or perhaps, it's your honey that you're engaged in a power struggle with. Bummer. Avoid fleeing back into your comfortable, crabby shell. Stand your ground. Tap in to the strength of own empowered self. Lean on a friend for some moral support, especially while the Moon is in Taurus. You may still overturn this tension into a round or two or more between the sheets ;-)

LEO ~ Your faith shaken a bit? Mars is now direct in your sign but while retrograde, he may have opened up the mind's eye and gave you a little bit more to mull over. Mercury and Pluto connecting now may be stimulating some of what you've learned. That's all it is though, stimulation – reminding you not to forget what you now know. Take your honey, along with some fun friends, and enjoy the weekend. Embrace what you know and welcome what's to come.

VIRGO ~ Your ruler, Mercury, is in your house of sex along with Venus and by Saturday afternoon, so will the Sun. This altercation between Mercury and Pluto, who is in your love house, may be tension that can be satisfied in the bedroom. Communication is key with Mercury involved. Consider also that there are many ways of communicating … including non-verbal but effective ways. No kisses with a fist, though.

LIBRA ~ The Taurus-Moon in your house of sex gives a clue on how to relieve any pressure in the air. Just be yourself your naturally charming, sociable self this weekend and watch much of the weekend's intensity just roll off your back :) By Saturday night, the Moon's transit in fellow air sign, Gemini, is a welcome change and gives a familiar feel.

SCORPIO ~ Oh dear. Your ruler, Pluto, gets testy with Mercury. The more you hold on, the more likely what you fear or are trying to avoid will come to pass. Consider letting go. Did I lose you? Friday's Taurus-Moon lights up your relationships house; then Saturday, the Moon's entrance into Gemini bring focus in your house of sex and release. The heavens urge you to lighten up and have a little faith. Channel negative energies toward a constructive and positive goal. Why not let that goal be to enjoy the weekend with whom you love?
